Male Beauty Pageants: Setting Expectations

I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about. I want to hype Male Pageants that has that good reputation and prestige of being renowned. C'mon! These boys deserves some hyping! :)

So WELCOME! And Thank you for visiting this blog.

The history of beauty pageants revolved mainly around women...
 It was pretty hard to find a contest of male pageants because men prefer their looks and physique to be more recognized than their character... That was BEFORE.

This time, I believe male pageants are trying to become more at par with female beauty pageants wanting to have some sort of cause for their joining and winning. And I'm sure these candidates are also wishing the same to get that RESPECT and RECOGNITION that female pageants are having.

Beauty pageants are perhaps one of the greatest weapons the media has in over-sexualizing both the female and male body. It teaches society that looks are all that matter. It teaches society that the body of the candidate is a sex object, and that a person who is not "perfect" by society's standards isn't good enough. ----- I don't think so. This would still depend on how you would really look at it. Right now, I'm seeing Nationalism and Prestige.

This is actually my first time tackling on this type of "TREND", so I'm going to be really careful about the things that I'll be posting. I want to give Male Pageants that chance.

* Candidate Reviews ( hyping a candidate, criticizing/MILD-bashing a candidate)

* I don't tolerate DIRECT RACIST comments/remarks on ANYONE.
